Since two weeks ago, didactics classes have
been very interesting. First, we have made reflecting teaching. We have
compared our thoughts about teaching with the ones of experienced teachers in
order to have answers to our questions. Having compared our thoughts, we tried
to reflect on our teaching way and to better it.
On the other hand, we have studied the
different types of motivations our students must have. These important
motivations are Integrative Motivation (students want to be part of a group;
that is why, they want to learn the language), Instrumental Motivation (students
want to use the language), Intrinsic Motivation (students do it because they
want), and Extrinsic Motivations (teachers or someone else gives the students
motivation). These four types of motivation are important in order to have a
good learning process.
Another important thing we have learnt
is that everybody has Multiple Intelligences (MI). Our
students do not learn the same way as others do since they have not developed
the same MI. So, our work as teachers is to come up with classroom activities
in which students can put into practice their intelligences. We also should try
to make our students develop intelligence, not just the one they have.
